1770 - N. o poeta inglês William Wordsworth. Iniciou o Romantismo inglês juntamente com Samuel Taylor Coleridge ao publicar LYRICAL BALLADS em 1798. 
Wordsworth centrou-se em temas como a natureza, as crianças, os pobres e pessoas comuns, utilizando uma linguagem vulgar para exprimir os seus sentimentos pessoais.
